The Marion VA is rolling out the red carpet for Veterans at their new patient orientation classes, beginning February 14 at the main facility in Marion.
New two-hour training classes will be held twice a month with topics ranging from prescriptions and refills, making or changing appointments, contacting your VA health care provider, to registering for My HealtheVet, VA's award-winning portal to your personal health record.
Classes will be held on the second and fourth Monday of each month from 1 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the Rec Hall, located on the 2nd floor of the hospital building.
While most attendees receive a personal invitation, walk-ins are also welcome to attend. Veterans who have already been receiving care at the VA are welcome to attend to learn about services and benefits.
Veterans are also invited on a tour of the facility with stops at X-ray, the blood laboratory, the outpatient pharmacy, and the Canteen.
